INSPIRATION
I am gradually leaving social media.
Poetry with María Fernanda (not a substack) will be an independent newsletter arriving to your email inbox. It will go in depth on
my travels as a full time artist
share upcoming literary events by Poetry with María Fernanda
links to writing opportunities from across the U.S. and internationally.
Why a newsletter?
First, I am immensely grateful to write this: I have started receiving requests—very kind requests! thank you!—to begin direct messaging people on Instagram ahead of my performances. They share our similar frustrations with the Instagram algorithm. Since I support myself entirely with poetry, adding to my to-do list can feel like an overwhelming thought. Still, I am hoping this is a useful solution.
