Join us this Saturday, August 9 at 10:30am for Inner Freedom: A Poetry Workshop led by award-winning poet Maria Fernanda (@poetrywithmariafernanda ) at Creative Grounds DC. This poetry workshop explores inner freedom through the lens of diasporic afro-surrealism and poetry. We will read writers across the Caribbean, Africa, and the U.S. and consider what it means to be free on the page and in our spirits.
